Today’s lookalike
18 January 2005Coming back to the swastika thing, is it me, or does this BBC news magazine ‘article’ on the swastika bear an uncanny resemblance (both in structure, and the material used) to the Wikipedia article that I mentioned the other day? Right down to the use of the word ‘icosagon’, the Canadian mining town of the same name, and the lengthy quote from Mein Kampf.
Although the Wikipedia article is linked to from the article, there is no actual credit given, even though the BBC article is simply a summary of the main piece and nothing more. Maybe the Beeb ought to release it under the GFDL? Or, alternatively, come up with some original material.
