Hacked
19 February 2007My provider, 34sp.com had some of their servers hacked today. Though the site’s now been restored back to its normal running, if anyone noticed anything strange here earlier today, that was the reason why.

Is the online presence of Chris Applegate, geek and wannabe polymath.
This is my personal blog, where I blog about anything I like, but more often than not it's to do with digital culture, society, politics and the interaction between all three. All views here are, of course, mine personally and not necessarily those of my employers or associates.
As well as what I blog here, you might be interested in what I have to say on Twitter or my linklog on Delicious. I also blog for my employer, We Are Social, on social media agency-related stuff.

Yeah me too… luckily most of my important sites are no longer with them and reside on a 1&1 dedicated server, due to 34sp’s exorbitant prices when you want more than 1 database, more than about 4Gb transfer or more than a few hundred Mb storage… tsk. Good thing they have a pretty good backup system, huh??
