December 12th, 2003James Brown appointed to funk up US GovernmentSpokesman Richard Boucher confirmed that Mr Powell had indeed appointed Mr Brown to be the first US “secretary of soul and foreign minister of funk” but said the job description for the post had not yet been drawn up.
Alright, actually Colin Powell was just making a joke in an after-dinner speech, but still, it gets disturbing when stories that belong in The Onion make it to the real world…
