The new PotatoCard
January 19th, 2004Last year Transport for London launched the immensely cool Oystercard - a smartcard that (amongst other convenient features) allows you to use ticket gates on the Tube without sticking the card in the machine. As you don’t need to take it out of its wallet, it was only a matter of time before 101 Uses for an Oystercard came into being, with ideas like inserting it into a potato or attaching it to an inflatable doll before using it on the ticket gates. Amusing, though I’m not sure how impressed a ticket inspector would be if you wield a potato at him…
