End of an era?
January 27th, 2004Dear me, it could be the end of Tony Blair’s Premiership in the next 48 hours, and what am I talking about? Football. Oh dear. Anyway, today sees the Commons vote on top-up fees, followed by the Hutton Inquiry report tomorrow. Enough on both has been said recently, but I reckon Blair will win the vote (just) - an issue I back him on so I hope he does - and get let off by the Hutton report while a score of underlings get the blame shifted on them.
