“This is not a joke. We are alone and constantly battling for our lives.”

Not sure what to make of this - a blog of two guys trapped in a house, whilst fighting off zombies. A joke? Viral marketing for some zombie-related product? A new form of blognovel? I can’t figure it out.

    From right near the beginning:

“All of this happened so quickly. We were supposed to leave for L.A. next week. We started a blog right before our trip that we were going to use when we got to L.A to chronicle our experiences trying to get into the film business…”

    Aha.

Actually, though, looking at the comments, people seem to be treating it as a sort of blogform version of those old ‘choose your own adventure’ books and text adventure computer games (“…have you tried electrical current as a weapon?”). Which is quite possibly the intention. And, now I think about it, is kinda cool.

The other explanation is that they’re being attacked by zombies; and now I think about it, that’s kinda cool too.
