One of the projects I work on is slowly progressing to fruition, and now’s the time to ask if anyone else wants in. The Line does what it says on the tin - it is a new newspaper for London. At the moment it’s still very much in the development stage, but we’ve already got some hard cash backing us, and a small team of enthusiastic writers (amongst them, me, Tom and Armand). We’re still looking for more contributors - not just writing, but also photography, cartooning and photoshopping. If you fancy giving print media a shot, and being part of something exciting, then drop us a line at newspaper@gmail.com.

I’m already in. But I guess I don’t merit a mention on your precious blog. Hrumph.

Just to add to this - things we will have within the next week will be proper email addresses and shit, and hopefully a slightly more interesting website (probably including one or two pieces from our pre-pilot dummy issue, so you can have a peek what we laughingly describe as our House Style).
And to back up Chris, it is actually quite exciting.

Sorry Armand, have fixed.

Thanks :).
It is exciting. My part has been underplayed as of yet; just providing an occasional sounding board for the big K, and contributing a short piece, and occasional technical support. But I will contribute more steadily soon, because I, like Chris and Tom, believe it is a good thing with a viable future.
Do it.
